The very first SL ever created was the now legendary 300 SL Grand Prix racing car that was manufactured by Daimler-Benz in 1952. Daimler-Benz never wanted to make a street legal version but here we are in 2021 and Mercedes-Benz has just announced they will be debuting a brand new SL for 2022. This 2003 Mercedes-Benz SL 500 Roadster that we have here is your chance to own a piece of Mercedes’ rich history. Powered by a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 that produces 302hp and 339lb-ft of torque, this power is sent to the rear wheels via 5 speed automatic transmission. A perfect example of a raw old school driving experience.
Outfitted in Mercedes’ Brilliant Silver Metallic exterior paint and a black leatherette interior, this SL is the definition of class. Taking a look at the SL’s odometer we can see that this vehicle has only 95,053kms on it, definitely on the lower end of the spectrum for a near 20 year old German grand tourer!
