Car of the Week: 2019 Lexus UX
The car of the week for this week is the brand new 2019 Lexus UX.
Alyc: Alyc Keith here with the special edition of Car of the Week. This week, we have the all-new Lexus UX. It’s only in our showroom today and after today it will not be back here until the middle of January. The UX stands for urban crossover. It’s a 250h, it’s a Hybrid, it’s an all-wheel drive, let’s take a closer look.
I’m inside the all-new Lexus UX. This is ultra white on F Sport, Circuit Red. This vehicle is the F Sport Series 2 so it comes with a heads-up display, the navigation, and a 10.3-inch display screen, and a wireless phone charger, to name a few. I have Jared French, former sales associate, that’s gonna talk a little about what’s under the hood and some of the safety features.
Jared: Thank you very much, Alyc. The all-new Lexus UX 250h Hybrid comes powered with a 2-liter 4-cylinder engine combined with Lexus fourth generation Hybrid Drive system, puts out 175 horsepower and it’s powering all four wheels, and good news, it takes regular fuel.
The Lexus UX 250h F Sport Series 2 comes standard with a power tailgate, intuitive parking sensors all the way around, and a continuous LED strip. Coming around the front we have Lexus Safety System 2.0, it features pre-collision system with bicycle detection and pedestrian detection, also lane trace assist, all-speed radar cruise control and automatic high beams.
Alyc: Well, Jared, thanks for that information. For more information on the UX, packages, colors, specifications, please visit the Lexus of Calgary website. I’m looking forward to driving this thing in January. I’ll see you next week.
