Alyc Keith here once again for another episode of Car of the Week. Hope everyone had a great weekend. Did you guys catch the fights? Did you have a football draft? Whatever you got up to, hopefully it was a good one. This is the last Car of the Week for the month of August. I have a beautiful 2005 Lexus SC 430 with only 80,000 miles on it.
Quick update for you. The 2015 RX F Sport that was Car of the Week 2 weeks ago is sold so you can cross it off your list. Teagan, let’s take closer look under the hood.
You are looking at a 4.3 liter V8 engine with 300 horsepower and 325 pounds of torque. This is a rear-wheel drive with traction control and vehicle skid control. And I can tell you, it’s got brand new tires on this thing. So, if you really wanted to drive it in the winter, you probably could. Let’s take a look inside the cabin.
Inside the Car of the Week, 2005 Lexus SC 430. This is a U.S. car that originated in California. The odometer reading is 80,123 miles which accumulates to 128,000 kilometers. So, it’s very low for the year. This car when it came out back in 2005, it was a $92,000 car. So, it was quite the vehicle. This is a hard top convertible. I’m sure you’re quite familiar with it. As far as the car proof goes and the history, the car came into Canada in 2008, clean car proof, very clean car, full load, with the Mark Levinson sound system. Let’s have a listen. What do we have this week?
That’s right. That’s GNR the concert of the year, Wednesday, Commonwealth Stadium. If you’re gonna be there, look for me. I’m gonna be there. I can’t wait. That’s basically the car in a nutshell. For more information, click on the link below and we’ll see you next week.
