For this month’s employee spotlight, we interviewed Jake Aberle, one of our service advisors. A Calgary native, Jake has been with our team since 2013 and enjoys hockey and lacrosse.

Q & A With Jake Aberle, Lexus of Calgary Service Advisor
Q: What does a typical workday look like?
JA: “The morning starts by greeting guests who are booked in for service and are leaving their vehicles for the day. I also take care of our Valet appointments, making sure the vehicles are returned in a timely manner following the servicing completed during the day. The afternoon consists of completing the service invoices and advising the guests what was done on their vehicle during the time it was in for service and answering any questions they might have.”
Q: What makes Lexus of Calgary service different from other luxury dealership’s service departments in the area?
JA: “At Lexus of Calgary the service is very one on one with the guest. We greet them in the mornings, update them on how the servicing is going and when their vehicle will be finished. In the afternoon we greet them again letting them know how the servicing went, what was done and when their next service should be.”
Q: What should first-time visitors know about Lexus of Calgary?
JA: “The first thing people should know about the dealership is that the Lexus staff here are incredibly friendly. The staff are always smiling and more than happy to get to know our guests.”
Q: What do you do in your free time?
JA: “During the winter I spend most of my free time playing hockey or going to Flames games. During the summer I try to get out to BC as much as I can. Other than that I spend lots of time with my family and friends.”
Q: What is your dream car?
JA: “My dream car would definitely a Lexus GS F!”
Q: What is one service most people don’t know about that they should?
JA: ” I always like the results of a power polish completed by our detail department. It removes any minor paint imperfections and scratches on the paint surface, and when it is done the vehicle looks like it did the first day it was in the showroom.”
