Car of the Week: 2013 Lexus GX 460
The car of the week for this week is a 2013 Lexus GX 460, Stock #3620A.
Hi everyone, Alyc Keith here once again for Car of the Week. We’re here at Lexus of Calgary and we’re here in our delivery bay. We’re getting ready for month end. We got some cars going out. I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. The NHL All-Star game was on this weekend. Some great hockey, highly entertaining. Today’s vehicle, we have a 2013 Lexus GX. It just arrived. Let’s go take a look.
Here we are with our vehicle of the week. It’s a 2013 Lexus GX 460. The GX stands for Grand Crossover, and the 460 represents the 4.6 liter V8 engine that’s in this car. It’s 301 horsepower with 329 pounds of torque. This is the sport package. So the sport package gives you the larger wheels, and it gives you a different grille, and it gives you a chrome exhaust tip. So it was a special package that came out in 2013. Beautiful car. Seven passenger vehicle. A lotta people compare the forerunner to the GX. Big difference is the power, and the room, and of course all the bells and whistles which I’m gonna show you inside. Let’s go take a look.
Okay, we’re inside this beautiful GX 2013. It has only 58,435 kilometers on it. Course the history of this vehicle is very good. It’s accident-free, low kilometer, one owner car. It was bought here, serviced here. When you’re looking for a pre-owned car, that’s exactly what you wanna see. This package here, as I mentioned, is the sport design package. This car was worth $73,000 when it came out back in 2013. You’re gonna get rain sensing whippers. You’re gonna get the memory seats, smart key system, and 17 speakers in this Mark Levinson sound system. Let’s have a listen to what we’ve got here. There we go. Nice, crisp sound. So Mark Levinson sound system sounds wonderful. Backup camera, right here. And, yup, before we go, Teegan, I wanna show the viewers the back seats. So let’s go take a look at the back seats.
Okay, this is the rear hatch of the GX. It’s a love it or hate it type of a hatch. It opens up this way as opposed to up and down like some of the other vehicles. Okay, this vehicle does have seven passenger. Unlike the RX, we have seven seats in here. Also the LX is a seven passenger, as we did a feature on that car a few weeks ago. You wanna come back here, Teegan. These are the power rear seats. I just wanted to show a close up. So they go up as so. And there’s a fair bit of room back there. And then all you do is you pull the head rests up. So there you have it, our Lexus GX 2013. It won’t last. For more information on this vehicle, click on the link below, and I’ll see you next week.
