Car of the Week: 2010 Lexus RX 450h
The car of the week for this week is a 2010 Lexus RX 450h, Stock #170136A.
Alyc: Alyc Keith here once again for Car of the Week. I hope everyone had a great week and a great stampede. Stampede is over, and we’re back here today in our regular clothes. I’m here today in our nail salon, and as you wanna take a look, Teagan, I was gonna get my nails done, but customers do come first. But we are fully operational now in the nail salon. And while you wait you get to have a nice massage in the massage chair. We had 3,000 views last week, so thanks much for tuning in. We have a very nice Car of the Week this week. It’s a 2010 Lexus RX 450h. Let’s go take a look.
Here we are with our Car of the Week. It’s a 2010 Lexus RX 450h. A little history lesson for you on the Lexus hybrids. In 2005, the Lexus RX 400h became the first premium hybrid vehicle for sale. And now it’s been…so it’s been around for a while. 2010 was the first year that it was the RX 450h. It went through a complete overhaul in body design. It was redesigned.
This is a Touring Package. This Touring Package has got the 19-inch wheels. We have brand new tires on this car. And we’re gonna talk a little more about what comes in the Touring Package inside. But first, Teagan let’s take a look under the hood. Here we are under the hood of the Car of the Week, but I’m gonna pass the mic over to Lexus renowned salesperson, Scott France. Scott, take over.
Scott: This is the Lexus RX 450, so it has the traditional 3.5 liter gasoline engine, with not one but two electric motors, to get you to the number LX 450. And “h,” of course, is for “hybrid.” Excellent gas mileage in the city, and far better gas mileage than the gasoline version on the highway. Total 295 net horsepower, with 234 pounds of torque.
Alyc: Now inside the Car of the Week. Let’s recap this here. This 2010 RX 450h hybrid retailed at the Touring Package for $65,000 back in 2010. Let’s talk a little about what the package has. Package has: navigation, backup camera, heated seats, cooling seats. It has the memory seats as well. Steering wheel controls. Bluetooth audio. Twelve-speaker sound system with a rear sub-woofer. So I can tell you it sounds pretty good. I don’t have any tunes this week, sorry. Next week I’ll have something special for you. Something we always talk about in the car proof: accident-free, one-owner car. So we know the car was bought here, serviced here, traded in here. It’s gone through the shop, it’s excellent. It has only 107,000 kilometers. That’s very good for the year for a 2010. It should have probably approximately 140,000K.
So this car is here for you to come down take a look. For more information click on the link below, and we’ll see you next week.
