Hello, Keith here once again for car of the week. Thanks for tuning in this week, last week we had 3200 views. Thanks for checking us out. We had a nice interview with our owner and dealer principle Glen last week. The video went a little long, so we’re gonna keep this short and sweet this week. We have a 2010 IS 250C with very low kilometers. I think is has approximately 40,000 kilometers on it. A couple tidbits about the Lexus convertible, the IS 250 C. It debuted at the Paris motor show in 2008, and it was released here in our showrooms in 2010. 2010 was also the last year of the SC 430. So they overlapped for one year and the SC 430 was gone. This car is in great shape, red in color. This car actually originated out of the Vancouver area, and we located it and brought it in because it was in such great shape. And you don’t you find a lot of 250C’s available for sale here in Calgary. Let’s take a look under the hood and then we’re gonna take a look inside of the car.

Here we are under the hood of the 2010 IS 250C, you’re looking at a V6 engine. It’s a 2.5 liter V6 with 204 horse power and 185 pounds of torque. Again this is the 250C, there is a version, that is a 350C that does produce more horse power, but it also with more horse power comes more gas mileage. So, this is a great little convertible to drive around town in. I’m gonna give a demonstration today on how the roof works, let’s go take look at the car.

I’m with the car of the week, I wanted to give a quick demonstration how quick the roof can go up, in case you get caught in a wind storm or a rain storm. So I’m in the car. I’m closing, and Teagan will demonstrate. And just like that it’s closed. So I don’t know if you were timing that, but that maybe felt like 20 seconds. So just like that, that’s how the roof works. Teagan, if you want to get inside, let’s showcase some of the features.

We’re inside the IS 250C. The official odometer reading is 41,806 kilometers. This package is known as the premium package with navigation. This car brand new sold for $58,782. So, couple things you get with this package, you get the navigation, you get heated and cooling seats, you get memory seats, and backup camera. This car is in phenomenal shape, it’s got very low kilometers. We have a couple of SC 430s, if you want to compare it to the SC 430 but this is the only IS 250C, that I know of, that is in the city for sale.
