Alyc Keith here for “Car of the Week.” I’m outside our dealership, and you know what, apparently 20,000 cars drive past here every day, so that’s some great advertising for us. I’m out here. We got a Corvette that just came in on trade. You see our lot is all ready to go for playoffs. We got the Flames flags going. Let’s go take a look inside, it’s a little windy out here.

Back inside, we’re in my office. I guess you can say this is where the magic happens. Three thousand views last week, thanks so much for tuning in. I do have a couple car flags and cleaning kits left. If you’re in the area, stop and see me, I’d love to give out the last couple I have. Quick update, our “Car of the Week” from a couple weeks ago, the 2012 Lexus RX Ultra Premium, the white one, it’s gone. So that leaves our “Car of the Week” this week, which is a 2013 Lexus LX.

One thing I wanted to bring up this week that I’ve never brought up before is our marker reports. When you come in to purchase a vehicle, we would like to provide you with a marker report. So for example, this week we’re looking at the Lexus LX 2013, our marker report will show you that there were was four others for sale throughout Western Canada. It tells you what they have been priced at and it actually shows you what they’ve sold for. So let’s talk real quick about this. So there’s one in town here that’s not certified, it’s at one of our luxury store competitors and they’re priced $4,000 more than what we have ours listed for. And then there’s another one here listed up in the Edmonton, which is a package below what we have and actually you can view their CARPROOF on their website, and there’s too pretty big CARPROOF claims. So this is something that we do for you when you come in. We provide the marker report. We’ll provide you all the information and we kind of explain to you how we’ve reached that price that we’ve come up with. Anyways, let’s go take a look at the “Car of the Week.”

Here we are with our “Car of the Week.” It’s a 2013 Lexus LX. This is the Ultra Premium package. In 2013, there actually was two packages to choose from, one was the base model, which retailed for approximately 92,000. The other one is the Ultra Premium that retailed for just shy of 100,000. A couple of the differences between the two is the unique styling of the wheels. They are a little different color than they are on the base model. The inside, we got the Mark Levinson sound system, which we’re going listen to of course, as per usual, and the heated and wood steering wheel is also part of that package. There’s a few other things I’ll bring up later. But this car’s in great shape. It hasn’t been here long. We actually had two LXs come in at the same time that were 2013s, we had a white and black one. The black one is sold, so this is all we have left. Let’s take a look under the hood.

Here under the hood of the 2013 LX, what you’re looking at is a 5.7-liter V8 engine, 383 horsepower with 403 pounds of torque. Lotta sound dampening materials, which makes it very quiet inside the cabin. While we’re under the hood, couple of things to bring up, let’s talk about towing capacity. This vehicle can pull up to 7,000 pounds and it’s a 6-speed automatic transmission with sequential shift. As you can see, the car is in great shape underneath the hood. Let’s take a look inside.

Back inside the 2013 LX, the “Car of the Week,” this vehicle is in fantastic shape. The kilometers on it, Teegan, are 57,130 kilometers. As I mentioned before, this is the Ultra Premium package. This car retailed for 99,000 when it came out, and the one thing that we always talk about every week, which I forgot to bring up last week, is the CARPROOF. We have an accident-free, low kilometer, one owner vehicle. This car is an Alberta car. We have all the service records on it, it’s been kept in great shape. Couple things we talked about that separates the A package and the Ultra Premium package, I discussed outside, but the premium leather seats and the rear DVD entertainment system, I hope you can pick that up, Teegan. Those are some of the main differences. But we did a LX couple weeks ago, 2015 LX, guess what it has, if you remember, cool box. Teegan, here’s some apple juice for you and a bottle of water for me, that’s also part of this package. And as I mentioned, something we talk about at all time is the Mark Levinson sound system. Let’s have a little listen, what do we got going on today? Oh there we go. You know that is, that’s “In Da Dome.” That was something that we played in 2004 all the time, so I’m getting pumped up, playoffs are coming, bring on the Oilers, that’s all I have to say. Well, what else is there to talk about, this thing has everything. Please click on the link below and we look forward to seeing you next week. Go Flames, go.
