Alyc Keith once again here for car of the week, and we have a very special guest this week. I’m very honored to have Bret “The Hitman” Hart, the excellence of execution, is here. Just want to say Bret as a Calgarian growing up it’s a real honor to meet you. I’ve been a huge fan of yourself and the Hart Foundation, and really excited to do this thing, so thanks for being here.

Bret: It’s always a pleasure to get down here.

Alyc: Excellent. So, Brett, I believe that you’ve been servicing your vehicle here since 2001 with Lexus of Calgary. Can you tell us a little about the experience that you’ve had?

Bret: You know I’ve had the best treatment here. I’ve been treated like a million bucks. Sandeep has been taking care of me now for quite a few years but you know I’ve always brought my car in here like going back 16, 17 years now, and they’ve always taken really good care car. I’m pretty particular about my car. I run it pretty hard, but at the same time I take really good care of it and now I bring it in here, I sort of look at them to make it brand new and make it all sweet and perfect again, and they always do. It’s a beautiful car and a beautiful experience driving it, and with good maintenance and the quality care I get here, continually every year, year in, year out, it’s always a pleasure to drive my car. I park it during the winter, so I get stuck driving my truck for a lot of time. I just wait until I can get my… I call it my little sweetie. I get my little sweetie out and I…it’s still not quite convertible time yet here in Calgary, but I’m very anxious to get the top down, start driving out to Banff and different parts of Calgary, just a beautiful, beautiful cruising car. And again the quality of care of service I get here at the Lexus dealership here is just awesome, it’s just been great for years.

Alyc: Really good to hear. I’ve been asked by some of the service advisors and our technicians if you would consider applying the sharpshooter to our service manager.

Bret: I’d like to think I’m retired but it could be worked out that he could be put in sharpshooter.

Alyc: That’s excellent. So Brett in closing, when you talk about Lexus of Calgary service

Bret: I would say Sandeep and the boys do the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be and I mean that.

Alyc: Oh, right on, Brett, thanks so much.

Bret: My pleasure.

Alyc: And let’s go take a look at the car of the week. Here is our car of the week and it’s a 2013 Lexus LS460, and this is the F sport package. This was the first year that they introduced the F sport package in the LS. This is technically a generation four LS. The first generation LS came out in 1989, the year the Flames won the cup so, that’s easy to remember.

So, lots of drastic changes came in 2013. You are going to get the 19″ rims and tires on this F sport package and it’s in really nice shape, it hasn’t been here too long. It does have, believe it or not, there’s 100,000 kilometers on this car, but you would never know by the condition it’s in. Let’s take a look under the hood. Here were are under the hood of this beautiful 2013 Lexus LS460, as you can see there is lots of sound dampening material under the hood. As mentioned before, the cabin is extremely quiet, this is why. You’re looking at a 4.6 liter V-8, with 360 horsepower, with 347 pounds of torque. It’s a really beaut to drive.

We are inside the car of the week. This vehicle here, the 2013 LS460 all wheel drive in the sport package retailed for $95,000 back in 2013. So, this is our flagship, it’s quite the car, this gives you a lot of options. The one, couple things that are unique to the F sport is some of the badging and the look on the outside, and the interior, the black, the badging up here, you can take some pictures later on, but pretty awesome. The power, paddle shifts, memory seats, navigation, backup camera, this thing gives you everything. Mark Levinson sound system, we talk about every week, in most of our vehicles.

We had a special guest this week, this song is for the Hitman. Yes, that’s the theme song that the Hitman used to walk out into the ring too. So, pretty awesome. For more information on this car, click on the link below, now I’m getting a little carried away. I forgot to talk about CARPROOF, accident-free, one owner car, and the kilometers on it, there is 105,000 kilometers on this car but you would never be able to tell.

Please check us out next week. Thanks for tuning in.
