Alyc Keith here once again for another episode of “Car of the Week.” Right behind me, I have a pre-owned vehicle that’s in for service. This guest is in for his very first service, and part of our VIP experience is getting a complete detail when your car is in. Let’s look at our boys in action here.

Here we are with the car of the week, but before I get into the car of the week, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers. It was Mother’s Day yesterday, so I hope that all the moms out there had a wonderful day. I got a real treat for you today. I have a 2014 Lexus LX with only 34,000 kilometers on it. This thing is mint, you’re gonna see for yourselves how clean this vehicle is.

Couple quick tidbits about the LX that I get asked quite frequently. 1995 was the first production year of the LX and that was for generation one. And the other question I get is, when did the Lexus LX change from the 470 to the 570? Well, 2008 is when they changed up to the 570 V8 engine, so a little couple tidbits for you. The car is Ultra-Premium package, it is in mint condition as I said before, 20-inch wheels, it’s pristine. We’re gonna take a look at the back this week, we’re gonna take a look under the hood, and we’re also gonna take a look inside.

Just wanna give a quick demonstration of the rear hatch on the Lexus LX, I’m gonna hold down the release button, and this is power, and the bottom part here is power as well. And Teegan, if you wanna come in close, these rear seats are power as well. Let’s hold these down. So you can see, it’s a seven passenger, lots of room when the seats are stored up. And to pull these up, you just pull this. So there you have it, a little demonstration of the back seats.

Here we are under the hood of the 2014 Lexus LX 570. The 570 obviously represents the 5.7-liter V8 engine that produces 383 horsepower and produces 403 pounds of torque. As you can see, it is in mint condition, the previous owner kept very good care of this. Let’s take a look in the cabin.

I’m inside our car of the week. As I mentioned before, this thing is in mint condition, 2014 with 34,516 kilometers on it. This vehicle is a one-owner, accident-free, Calgary car, and this car is the Ultra-Premium package. They only came out with one package in 2014. And this car will retailed for $100,271 when it came back out in 2014. I’ve done a few LXs before, I’ve talked about the cool box, I’ve talked about the Mark Levinson sound system, I just wanna really focus on the pristine shape of this one. This one is not gonna last, it’s the cleanest one I’ve ever seen for the year with such low kilometers.
